I made something that reminded me of this it was baked penned w/ homemade vodka sauce and chicken sausage. Out of one box of pasta I had enough for two casserole dishes frozen one for another night.

This is SO good.A must try.I did not have cream of celery and used cream of chicken and also used tri-color spiral pasta since that is what I had on hand.Dh & I loved the really yummy cheesy flavor!!!

Hmmm...I have never bought any type of sausage except italian sausage that looks like hamburger. Is there a certain brand/type that I need to buy? How much does this make? It looks good to me, but I have suasage nightmares from my youth

I bought the kind that comes in a ring like the kielbasa sausage,You can get ecrich and I forget the other names. What ever is cheapest. You could use the kielbasa and that would do the same thing. It was under a pound that I used.
