does anybody have any recipes using tortilla chips
i have 1/2 of a large bag of them, and i know i won't eat them as chips alone with dip or anything like that.
I was thinking some sort of recipe to use them up!

hmm.. Have you ever had Frito Casserole? Usually you use corn chips (hence the name) but I bet you could use tortilla chips. You just layer the chips in a casserole dish, pour on some chili and some cheese and bake in the oven until the chili is hot and the cheese melts.

SO GOOD!

Mexican Casserole
Mix together in big bowl: 1 lb. browned beef, 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 1 can enchilada sauce, 1 can evaporated milk.

Layer this mixture with crushed up tortilla chips two or three times in large casserole dish. Top with 8 oz. cheddar cheese. I cover and cook in microwave for 10 min. You could use oven but it would take longer to melt the cheese.
