Found this today as I was searching for another recipe. I am going to make this next week.
I have included my three small changes that I will make with this recipe. I will post the results.

Ingredients:
1 package (6 ounces) long grain and wild rice mix
1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules
1 cup hot water
3-1/2 cups cubed cooked wild turkey (I do not have wild turkey, I am using leftover turkey breast that I have in the freezer)
1-1/2 cups chopped celery
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 can (8 ounces) sliced water chestnuts, drained I am omitting these)
1 jar (6 ounces) sliced mushrooms, drained
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 cup soft bread crumbs I am going to use generic ritz crackers for the topping)
2 tablespoons butter, melted
Directions:
Prepare rice according to package directions; place in a large bowl. Dissolve bouillon in hot water; add to rice. Stir in the turkey, celery, soup, water chestnuts, mushrooms, onion and soy sauce.
Transfer to a greased 3-qt. baking dish. Toss bread crumbs and butter; sprinkle over the top. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 55-60 minutes or until heated through. Yield: 8 servings. Very filling meal. All I added to the meal was salads. Everyone left the table full.

Yum! This recipe ended up being very good! Everyone loved it. I did just a few changes to it. I do not think that any of my changes were too drastic. I will be making this one again.

No water chestnuts-didnt have any, I am quite sure that no one would have liked them anyways.

I also finely chopped up about six baby carrots-I had my little processor out anyways, so I figured why not.

1 package (6 ounces) long grain and wild rice mix-I had a box of chicken flavored Rice a Roni that I used. I made the rice according to the box, but I DID NOT use the seasoning packet as I think the seasoning is gross. I would for sure use the amount of liquid that the box calls for.

Breadcrumbs-I had a sleeve of generic ritz crackers that no one liked, so I coarsely crushed up about 1/2 the sleeve of crackers..

I also added a little pepper and garlic powder.

Baking-I baked it COVERED for 55 minutes (I am always worried about casseroles drying out) without the cracker crumbs. Than took off the lid and sprinkled the crumbs on it. I than baked it for about 6 more minutes.

Let me know what you think. I hope your family likes it. It makes a lot, so we will be using it for lunches throughout the week.
Just want to add that although there is chicken bouillon and soy sauce that this recipe is NOT salty at all. I do not like salty food and I do not salt my food on my own plate ever. All The flavors that you put in are very nice.
