I am making this one tonight, it sounds pretty good, I will post back to let everyone know how it turns out!

Pizza Casserole

1 1/2 pds ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 tsp ground oregano
1 1/2 cups pizza sauce
dash of salt
6-8 ounces cheese of your choice

Popover Batter:
1 cup milk
1 tbl oil
2 eggs
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt

In skillet, brown ground beef and onion; drain off fat. Add the oregano, pizza sauce, and salt, bring to a simmer. Pour hot meat mixture in ungreased 9 by 13" pan, top with cheese. Mix batter ingredients together and pour batter over cheese, covering filling completely. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until puffed and deep golden brown. Serve Immediately.

This turned out really well. I used sharp cheddar cheese since that was the only kind I had on hand, and instead of salt in the popover batter, I added garlic salt to give it a little more flavor. Would be really good with a tossed salad.

I tried this last night and it was really good. I used 1 lb of hamburger and 1/2 lb of sausage. Next time, though, I will tweek the batter a bit to make a little more... it didn't completely cover the whole casserole.

It was delish though..

How many people would you say this will serve? I'm always looking for casseroles, etc to take for Sunday school socials.
