You could probably use a circle punch and only "punch" half way through.

That's be a good idea but I don't have a circle punch either I'm living in the dark ages.....maybe I could use my circle cutter to make a curvy slit.

I didn't have a slit punch or circle punch either... I made a separate piece of paper and attached it. I made about 4 cards before I got one I halfway liked. I washed my poor butterfly stamp down the drain and glued my front in the middle. I tried making a window several times and hated it. Aggh! I think I'm trashing this tutorial! LOL

Alicia ~ I like yours. I actually like it better than the window look. With the window you open the card and have that big circle cut out of the middle of your card.....or am I misunderstanding it?

Yeah, that's what it says. I just didn't like the window. It made it kind of flimsy.
