I Would Rather Be Scrapbooking!!!

Ok everyone... this is my first time. So be gentle.. I didn't have pretty paper or anything else that is fun so I used blank paper and cut out stuff from an old wall covering sample book for the stripes and flowers. The ribbon is crepe paper lol!! I tried so here it is. Oh and nothing is glued down so I can change it if you all think it is horrible.

I wouldn't think twice about using the more non-traditional supplies. IMO sometimes these are actually more personal and add a nice touch. For example I used wrapping from DS shower on his "baby shower" page and I am planned on using pieces from his bedding on his nursery page. Shows creativity!!!!
