OK so I woke up this morning at 3:30 and couldn't sleep so I lay in bed thinking about the cards I am gonna make today for the crop LOL and I thought of this card. I think I am going to make up a bunch of these for the beginning of the year for Madison's class. Have it say something like:
Our children are so special
Our children are so sweet
Lets all try to think of that
When we send a treat
Inside:
Here are some ideas that
your children may enjoy
Treats that may be better
choices for our girls and boys.
(and then I will list some non-sugary ideas)
Have a great school year!
(and I would add a packet of sugar free koolaid and a sticker or a pencil....I think I am going to contact Old Orchard and see if I can get some coupons for low sugar juice to add too.
What do you think...that wouldn't offend you would it? Everyone was bringing brownies with caramel and marshmallows like once a week this year and it was just sad. Madison can eat whatever she just needs insulin for it but who needs all that garbage besides a kid with diabetes?
If you have any ideas for a better way to word my poems please give me suggestions and please let me know if you would be offended if you recieved this from another parent in your childs class.
