It is a home based business that I think is natural products. I can't seem to find much information on the net about them. I thought it was Melaleuca (sp?) but just under the e-mail addy of personsname.motivatedmoms.net.

http://motivatedmoms.net/ they don't tell you about the products or the cost... I know that is a red flag.

It was attached to the bottom of an e-mail that we received from a person we know. I don't want to ask her what it is because I don't want to get the schpeil from HER, if you KWIM. I don't actually want to join to sell, but would be interested in safer products.

TIA

In doing research, it definitely looks like one of those companies that sell supplements. I know you're very level-headed, and I may sound negative, but I avoid companies like that. The products are usually very expensive and you never truly know what is in them. I found that when I started to dig into some years ago, and ask questions, the defenses came up at corporate level and the common denominator is, "The FDA doesn't regulate supplements." One of the products I was investigating had Ephedra and Ma Huang. Guess what the FDA ended up coming down hard on?

There are so many companies that do this, I wonder where you would get your customer base. My mil is constantly pushing her vitamins from a quack in California on us. Remember Herbalife? They were pioneers in this, yet they got in trouble. It just seems that these companies price the things high enough so they make a good profit, then retail it higher so they can get agents to sell it. It seems that the only one getting rich is at the top. JMHO. I'd rather sell something more tangible and even fun.

Thanks! I totally agree with you. I would never buy vitamins or supplements through anyone not certified with the FDA. I was hoping it would be a natural product for cleaning that smelled good. Where did you find the other information - I must not have dug too deep on the net, lol.

FYI - Herballife is still alive and kicking out here in CA.

I kept going through about 3 or so pages deep in google. There were mentions of making money and how this stuff helped with arthritis and other ailments, then another one talked about wellness products.

What's interesting is that there is also a business with the same name that does organizing and planning, and it sounds like they want help, too. But the link you had was the one that had things in common with "wellness" products.

I'm not surprised Herbalife is still in business. They went through bankruptcy or near it, but they still had made enough money they could afford to fight and withdraw products from the market. They had a loyal base like Amway. I actually tried their stuff in the 80s.

I saw that too - it was .com instead of .net.
