What is the BEST body lotion I can buy? I have such terribly dry skin and it itches and hurts. I've used several different lotions from Walmart and such but nothing really helps much. Of course I don't want to pay an arm and a leg but I want something GOOD that I can put on after my shower and it will actually keep me from itching and hurting an hour later. Oh, and we have hard water too. Thanks SO MUCH!

I use Cetaphil Cream for the whole family. I have very dry skin in the winter time, and this does wonders. No more itchy skin.

Eucerin is what my dermatologist recommends. It is THICK...and it does a better job than anything else I have tried. (I have NOT tried the Cetaphil, though!!)

Eucerin is great. It's not terribly expensive and often there are coupons that can help you save.

I have heard good things about Cetaphil though too!!

I have used Suave vitamin e lotion faithfully for over 12 years. I will never switch. I live in a dry climate and we also have hard water.
I use the Walmart brand of Eucerin creme for my girls. My 3 yr old has really dry skin and it works great on her.

My Dermatologist and kids pediatrician both reccommend Cetaphil...I use it on my face b/c for whatever reason I have the dryest patch between my eyebrows and under them!
Philosophy Hope in a Jar is great too (I use it all over), but that is pricey.

Me too! I've been using it year round for 10 years after a dermatologist recommended it (I have tried Eucerin, and many of the other major brands and they're just not the same!). It's expensive, but it's worth it in the long run - especially when your only other option is to scratch your skin off (literally).

My kids have dry, sensitive skin and I finally found something that will work for them ~ Arbonne! Of course, they use the kids line, but there is also an adult line that is great as well.

I have dry skin and am a moisturizer junkie. I LOVE Lubriderm Oatmeal. It is the only thing I have tried where my skin still feels soft and moist hours after I have applied the lotion. Look for sales and I always have a coupon. I get a pretty big bottle for about $6.00 and it lasts me 3-4 months--and that is applying every day.
