Has anyone ordered from Lillian Vernon? I was going to buy my grandmother a personalized blanket, does that sound like a good idea??

Do you have a specific question...? I've ordered from Lillian Vernon before, although not recently, I never had any problems.

I don't know if a blanket is a good idea...LOL. Do *you* think your grandma will like it? If so, I'm sure it's a great idea!

I LOVE them!! (Both the blanket idea and Lillian Vernon!!) I think that sounds like a wonderful gift!

We gotten lillian vernon stuff before and always been happy with it. The last few years I've been buying those throws at kohl's that they have on sale after thanksgiving and other times that are really nice for under $10. Then I've had them embroidered by a shop near me that does really nice work pretty cheaply. We've given quite a few of these as gifts to my dh's employees, etc. and the total cost has been under $15 per blanket. But lillian vernon would be fine too.

Lillian Vernon is a good, reliable company (her autobiography is great). Not top quality things, but their service is good.
