Okay, I know this will probably sound silly....but someone please help me with the abbreviations/lingo. I think I have figured most of them out, but I am afraid to use them just incase I am wrong...is there a cheat sheet somewhere???

Ok, I will give it a go.

Dh ~ darling husband or dipstick husband, depending on how you feel about him that day!! You are free to use any adjective beginning with "d" to describe him on any given day. By the tone of your post, we will figure out what kind of dh he is that day!!!

MIL ~ Mother in Law
FIL ~ Father in Law
SIL ~ sister in law
BIL ~ brother in law

SO ~ significant other
BF ~ boyfriend or best friend

ds ~ darling son or dipstick son!
dd ~ darling daughter or dipstick daughter!
DSS~ darling step son, dipstick step son
DSD~ darling step daughter, dipstick step daughter

PM ~ private message (see "private messages" at the top right of your screen under your sign in name)

There are way more, but these are the more commonly used ones.
