I'm an amateur at all of this, however this is hitting too close to home and with dh being gone right now I am FREAKING out!! Please send positive thoughts and tons of prayers!

This is the warning we JUST received over our weather radio:

Tornado Warning

TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NORMAN OK 629 PM CST MON NOV 27 2006
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NORMAN HAS ISSUED A

* TORNADO WARNING FOR... GARFIELD COUNTY IN NORTHERN OKLAHOMA

* UNTIL 700 PM CST

* AT 629 PM CST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO 4 MILES EAST OF WAUKOMIS...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 35 MPH.

* LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE BRECKENRIDGE...ENID...FAIRMONT... GARBER...VANCE AIR FORCE BASE AND WAUKOMIS.

TAKE COVER NOW. LEAVE MOBILE HOMES AND VEHICLES. IF POSSIBLE...MOVE TO A BASEMENT OR STORM SHELTER. OTHERWISE MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM OR HALLWAY ON THE LOWEST FLOOR. STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS AND OUTSIDE WALLS.

Stop typing, get the boys and move your tush! Do you have a basement? If not, go to an interior room..... Better safe than sorry!

Stay in the basement or interior room. If it gets really close get under a large heavy object and cover your heads with a blanket. I am sure you will be fine!!!

Currently speaking we are all in the laundry room. I have the lap top with me. It has a wireless router!!!! The boys think this is fun. I have the spin cycle on the washing machine right now with Ty and Zach both sitting on it making car sounds. It's so stinkin' cute!!!

I believe it's almost 7:15. I hope tornados are punctual...I want out of here!!!!

Check the National Weather Service site for updates on the warnings. Maybe you have an all clear!

Ok I went to Dh's favorites and in it was the aviation weather community website. I checked and it didn't have anything on it about a tornado for this area, so I guess I am to assume that once this spin cycle is over, we are out of here!
