It's 4am here in PA and 10 mo dd is coughing up a storm, but no other symptoms. I just put a vapor patch on her and we'll see if that helps, but of course she is up right now so I figured I'd check my ebay stuff, I just put on my first 2 outfits to sell yesterday.
If anyone has any thoughts on what to do in case this cough continues all day lmk.
It's funny too b/c my other dd just shouted TRAIN! She's been obsessed with trains lately and must have been dreaming about it. Well good night or I guess I should say good morning now!

good luck with the cough, I've been battling one too. You can try a steamy warm bath at bedtime. They also have those vapor plug in things. They are expensive but work well if there is an outlet near the bed. It releases vick vapor for up to 8 hours I believe. A cool mist humidifier may help too. They've worked wonders on my kids in the past.

The train thing is so cute! Be careful with the warm mist if the cough is a productive (mucousy one). I didn't know this, because I'd been using one, but it's best for hacking, dry coughs and will make the mucousy ones worse, causing more buildup, on the way to pneumonia - this came from dd's pediatrician.

I gave little diva some Robitussin, which the Dr. said is safe and it helped her sleep better, not up coughing. I did have to redose after 4 hrs., but it really did help. Again, she is over a year old - 15 months. The teething causes extra mucous, too. I don't dose her up during the day, unless it's an expectorant if she's bad because I want her to get it out - she is still on breathing treatments. I know they just want to sleep, but laying down flat makes it worse, and the doctor wants to see her up more. How fun.
