The 4th of July is still 2 days away. There is an echo in here. It's so quiet. Is it always this quiet in July?

I'm here, I am just sick so I am not on here as much as usual. But it does seem pretty quiet. Our town has lots of stuff going on this week-rodeo, carnival, music in the park and fireworks. So I would guess that other people are getting in on the festivities that their town offers. Or they are with family. We do not have anyone coming over for a bbq this year. I am kinda bummed but now that I am sick, I am glad. No way am I in the mood to fix food for 25 plus people. We are invited to a bbq at a family members house. It is a 45 minute drive so at this time I do not know if we will go. I would have to take all the kids by myself since dh would be working. If I feel better we might go. Kids would miss out on fireworks but I am not even sure where to take them for that either-again it would be by myself.

It's always quieter in the summer with the kids home.

Dh had surgery today so I have quiet time on the computer while he is out cold in the chair thanks to Lortab.

I'm here! Just checking in. We're back from an amazing bike ride on the coolest trail today!

I'm here too! The crickets are definitely chirping around here.

DH is working A LOT this week, so it's just DD and me. She is doing a bit more independent play, so I'm a bit "freer".
