Nope DH does not complain about what I make. I can tell if he doesn't like it though because he won't eat too much of it.

He will not complain about anything that I make but I want to know if he does not like it so I will not make it again.

I love to experiment and try new recipes and he sometimes complains about being a guinea pig but he likes most things that I make. The only thing he will not eat at all is lima beans if I fix them or put them in veggie soup.

Not really anymore. I used to love casseroles that had cream of mushroom soup in them. My dh called them "groul." I rarely eat them anymore, so that makes him happy.

Are your partners actually "complaining" or "commenting" that they don't like a particular dish? IMO there is a BIG difference...commenting no prob>>complaining not so cool.
Oh and if my partner ever called anything I made him (whether he liked it or not) slop I wouldn't be too impressed to put it kindly.

My hubby does not complain. My hubby eats out on the road while he is working and only gets home cooked meals when he is home, on the weekends. I have had him complain there was not enough tho lol

My DH has NEVER in 26 years complained about a meal I've made. He either says nothing or raves about it, even though we all know I'm a mediocre cook at best The only time he ever said anything that I knew meant he didn't like something was when it was some sort of casserole type thing and he took one look at it and said "What is THIS called?" I could read between the lines on that one.
