Every time we have pork chops my dh really gets to complaining! He hates them. He calls them cellulite chops So I always tell him if he doesn't like what I make then he can cook!

The only thing he complains about really is when I make salmon patties, he dislikes fish. And those I never make when he's home ... of course he can always smell them when he comes home.

No. There are a few things I like that he doesn't, and vice versa.
If I want something that I like and he doesn't, I make something else for him. If I decide to make a favorite of his that I dislike, I make something else for myself.

Every once in a while dh will complain about something I make. I always tell him any time he wants to start doing all the cooking that he is more than welcome too. I also tell him to call his dad and his brother and see what their wives have cooked for dinner. Neither one of their wives will cook, never ever for any reason. They just flat out do not cook so both his dad and brother are left to fend for themselves every day.

There are a couple of things that DH does not like, so I don't make them. When he goes out of town for work, I eat them for a couple of meals - and am happy. I am not eating LO's and PBJ's and don't have to listen to whining.

Mine complains quite often. Sometimes calls it "slop" but always eats it so it can't be that bad .

The only thing he has ever complained about is that I tend to stick to the same types of meals( I have about 2 dozen that we regulalry rotate through b/c everyone will eat them)

So when I did branch out and try something completly new and different ~ it was horrible (I think it was just a bad recipe though)! None of us ate that meal

I don't ever remember my DH complaining about a meal - and there are nights I give him plenty of reason to complain. Early in our marriage I had to convince him to let me know if he didn't care for something, because I wouldn't know not to make it again if he didn't tell me he didn't like it! I think he was afraid of hurting my feelings so he never said if he didn't like something - I finally got him to realize that saying you don't like something isn't the same as telling me I didn't make it well - there are a lot of foods I don't like even when they are prepared to perfection.

Not unless he wants to "wear his food" the rest of the night

No, neither one of us, will complain about what the other fixes.
