One of our customer's came in this morning to pay her payment, and she had just gotten fired for throwing a tray of cookies at her boss!

She was laughing and talking about how she has broken all of her dishes, numerous times and has broken mirrors and even furniture, because of her temper.

After she left, I got to thinking that I have never been angry enough to throw anything.

Have you? What did you throw and at whom?

I have never thrown anything either. I would think she needs some kind of therapy or anger management classes. I certainly would not be telling people about it if I did do that!!

I have thrown things a couple times. And never AT someone. After having kids, I think my anger has lessened quite a bit, though. I can't recall the last time I ever through anything out of anger...

I remeber one time when hubby and I were first married, before the kids. I spent all day making spaegtti sauce from scratch and he said it tasted like sh*it. I threw the whole pot at a wall in the kitchen. But then I hat to clean it up so thats the only time I did something like that. Hubby also said it taught him how to tell me in a nice way that he did not like what I made LOL. But I was embarassed and neve told anyone about it.

I have thrown stuff too. Nothing that would break though. And I have never thrown anything at someone.

Not to that extreme and only once and I felt kinda dumb aftewards

Once when I worked at Mcdonalds (teen yrs) a customer asked for NO tarter sauce on her fish filet but she got it anyway. Luckily she asked for the manager and it wasn't me she calmly took the bun off and smeared it in the managers face then threw her fries!

Never at anyone. I think I have thrown the phone before, but that is about it. And I am very embarrassed to admit it. I can't even imagine telling someone without being asked about it.

The worst I think I ever did was ...

I was at a fast food restaurant and I ordered my meal without tomatoes. At the time I was having a bad allergic reaction and I suspected tomatoes as the culprit.

When my item came I checked and, sure enough there were tomatoes on it. I asked them to remake the order but the clerk replied, "Well, just take the tomatoes off. That's what we do." I was livid. When you have a food allergy you can't just remove the offending food once it has contaminated everything else.

I ended up removing the tomato slices and slapping them down on the counter. I left the meal item there, too. Then I stormed out. Trust me, I felt like throwing something but I didn't.

Okay, now that I've thought about it, I guess when I get mad I have much worse (better?) ways of getting my point across without throwing things. People who have seen me angry - really angry (and it doesn't happen a lot) know not to be in the path of my wrath. And I don't even yell. Actually my voice gets really quiet. I once worked at a really stressful job and a co-worker who unfortunately had seen me get angry ONCE nicknamed me The Raptor. The person who witnessed my anger (not AT a co-worker, thank goodness) said I could rip their head off, hand it back to them and do it in such a way THEY would thank me for not doing worse.
