That's just sad. While I agree with freedom of speech, there's a time and place for it. An Independence Day parade with families looking for wholesome fun is not the proper place.

Lately I've noticed that a once fun holiday is slowly turning political. Around here, many people held TEA party rallies (Taxed Enough Already). I just want to tell these people to chill out, have a hot dog, and go enjoy some fireworks. Put the politics aside for just one day.
