I'm so sorry - I've been wondering. I wonder if someone "rescued" her, thinking she was a stray, if she lost her collar, although they should know she isn't from her good weight. I hope you hear something good soon! Do the police take the info, just in case they come across something?

I'm sorry to hear your dog hasn't made it home yet. Have you tried posting some pictures of your dog just to see if anybody has seen her?

If nothing else you have to believe that she is in a nice warm home. I'm sure she is fine but ill pray that she makes it home soon.

So sorry, I hope he is cuddled up in a nice home, have you put up signs, or take out an ad in your local newspaper? I remember when I was 12 our dog ran away, after we put an ad in the paper we got a call he was safe! I hope he gets back to you soon!

Kimberley, I will send hopes and well-wishes up your way that your dog comes home safely to you. I know it's so hard to think about at a time like this, but remember that everything happens for a reason. At least that's what I believe. Maybe she's out there and has saved a life, or has done something miraculous in her travels......Please let us know if your hear anything.

thankyou! i have called all the vets and the animal control and thats about all i can do. since we live ina very rural area i wouldn't even know where to start putting up posters where someone would see them. and the police pretty much don't do anything about missing animals, they send you to animal control. the vets i have talked to are going to watch for me if she turns up. and i put an add on the radio and on our local webpage for our town. i am going to [print up a poster and put it rigth by the mailboxes in our area, that would be a good spot. thank you for your good thoughts and your comfort.

My heart goes out to you. I know just how you feel. Earlier this year a few days before Mothers Day my dog ran away. My Dh and DSs was supposed to be watching him. I raised him from a pup and no one could understand how I could get so upset over a dog. He was indeed my baby and I had the worst Mothers day ever. My husband went to the neighbors and we scanned pictures of him and made a sign with our phone number on it. We put it in all the gas stations and grocery stores. We had a few calls but come to find out it wasn't our dog. We searched every where or so it seemed. Upon one of our searches our neighbor offered one of their puppies to us. I wasn't ready to give up hope but our boys fell in love with the dog so we took her. I cried so much and was coming to terms that I may never see him again until one morning getting up with a toothache I looked out my kitchen window and there he was digging around in the dirt trying to find food. He had lost alot of weight but at the mention of his name he came running in the house. That was over a month of being gone. In fact he came back a few days after Fathers Day. To make a long story short don't give up hope even as the days go by. I wouldn't ever want to go thru that again but I wouldn't of had the joy of having my other dog either. BTW they get along great always playing and snuggling with each other. So I will be thinking of you and hopefully your baby will be home soon.
