FYI for those of you who buy Charlie's laundry soap. I ordered 2 bags maybe a month or so ago. Just finished what I had & went to open the new & both bags were brick hard. You'd have to bang them on a cement floor or hit them w/ a hammer to get them to a usable powder. I called their 800# and they are aware of the problem. They changed their packaging, and the new packaging worked great in the winter but - when summer came w/ the humidity - the new packaging sucked all the moisture out of the soap & left you w/ a hard brick. Anyway, they are sending me 2 new bags. So, if you've had this happen to you - just give them a ring.

Thanks for the info. I haven't had that problem yet - I have two unused bags. I do keep them in plastic containers with tight covers.

I found this post in a search. I have the 5 gallon bucket and it lasted me 1.5 yrs, never turned hard.

I'm glad they were able to help you out and are fixing the problem.
