Ok it is the third day without power and we are sick of it. The generator is getting harder and harder to start everytime we have to put in more gas, but we feel bad complaining when some people are worse off. There are still 500, 000 people without power and the news said today that we definitely will not have power until Monday at the earliest

Then they are saying when we do get power back, not to crank the heat up because if everyone does it could cause the power to go out again.
The most irritating part of this is that the mall has power and all the stores around there but go a few blocks and its pitch black. It makes you think of the movie The Kranks where the neighbor pulls all the strings to get power back. Well the stores have power and nothing to buy that would be on any use!! Batteries, bread, no frozen food of course!
And tonight they are saying record lows and possible snow, which totally shuts everything down.
Hope we get power soon!

I am sitting here thinking of when I live in Minnisota and some tornados hit the area. No one has power for several towns for days. However, the casino had full on power. Shined like a beacon in a very dark town one night where you could see it for miles. Shows where $ will keep comerce coming in. Hope that you too have power soon. I am sending you warm thoughts to try and rid the chill it sounds like you will be getting.

With the florida huricains it feels like we got with out power once every year and yes by day three is stinks. I cant tell you anything but hang in an get creative. Hang out in the stores to keep warm.
