There is a meeting to discuss the problems people are having with the bus routes since the floods in '08 wiped out the ground transportation center, and many people can't get where they need to go with the new routes.

Here is the thing....They want people who ride the buses to come and give their opinions.....only there is no bus route that can take people to the meeting and get them back home. HELLO If you want people who ride the bus to give their opinion put the meeting somewhere on a bus route.

Oh my that is stupid.

Thanks for asking. We have a local option sales tax that is supposed to collect money to help buyout homes. There are still blocks and blocks of homes that haven't been touched. It's sad to go through those neighborhoods. Most of the downtown businesses that wanted to come back have. And they are trying to find a new place to rebuild the library which was right near the river.

floods are like tornados, they claim just about everything in their path and are left for long time.

I hope these homes get bought out so people can get on with thier lives. And get that library back up!
