I saw several ladies laying out by the pool or on the beach, with full make up on. Most of them were in their 20"s, but their were a few older ones with full make up on.

But not only did they have their make-up on, but a lot of them hair was done perfect.

I didn't even bring my make up, because after all, I was on vacation

Do you do your hair or make-up for the beach or pool?

Oh HELL no! I don't do makeup for WORK!

If I'm at the beach or the pool, two things are going to happen - I am going to sweat and I am going to swim, neither of which is a makeup-friendly activity. If I wore makeup to the beach or the pool, I'd look like a drowned raccoon after ten minutes.

I wear a tiny bit of makeup to the beach/pool because (a) I have some acne scarring/discoloration that embarasses me and I like to cover it up; (b) I don't immerse my face under the water because I don't like water over my head; and (c) I'm not much of a face-sweater unless I'm doing hard physical labor (i.e. mowing the lawn).

I do but mine makes sense (to me anyway, LOL!) I wear tinted moisturizer on my face because it has SPF15 and it's the only kind of sunblock I like to use on my face. I also use a tinted lip balm with SPF15, so I get all the benefits of the sunblock and feel a little better than I do when I wear no makeup at all.

Well I always use my compact to hold back the shine, wear mascara and some lipcolor. Takes me about 1 min to do my 'make up'. Otherwise, I'd look scarier than usual at the beach.

I wear tinted sunscreen and lipgloss with sunscreen. That's it.

When I was younger and self-conscious, I wore makeup
everywhere. But the older I get, I don't want to be bothered by
it except for work or social "get-togethers"!

Nope - dont see the point for me - if Im not hiding under a hat or umbrella I am smeared with a high spf factor so I dont burn.
But then Im the type of person that will have board shorts and a shirt over my costume to swim so I dont get burnt too badly.
Sun baby I am not.
