can you hire a sitter? cause I don't know when I would be able to do it either.

You could take naps when they do and then stay up late and pack at night after the kiddos go down...

good luck and happy moving ( I hate moving LOL! )

I packed when they were asleep at night. With DS he was certain his toys were leaving so I took pictures and taped them to the outside of the box so he could see them get loaded on the truck. Then he could see them unloaded to his room. DD was one at the time and could have cared less where she was. She only needed the fridge and that was it.

Oh thats a great idea. Ive moved A LOT over the years with kids too. All I can say is pack a few boxes a day and leave the bare essentials out. Eat off of plastic and paper. Get as much boxed up as you can. If your moving far away, get a ream of packing paper from u-haul for your dishes, makes for easy put away at your new house. Mark the boxes (or take photos) well so you know exactly what room they go in when you get to your new house. My garages were always the challenge, lawnmowers, rakes, yard art things like that are a pain to move! Last but not least, have pleanty of people lined up on moving day if your moving yourselves. Have extra packing tape, black markers, rope, packing blankets and a refrigerator dolly for moving day.
Good luck!

I've moved so many times with young kids. I just let them play while I pack and I do most of it when they are asleep.
