Really need some extra prayers this week. Got home from surgery on Monday (all went great, a little sore but glad to have that part done). Yesterday the oldest walked in with a fever. Poor girl. She is feeling okay, just feverish and sore, but now the littlest one has a fever. DH took last week off for surgery days so he has to go to work. Have to trust that all will be well. Never ending soap opera. Good thing is that treatment are deferred until healed a little. Silver lining!

I didn't realize how heavily I was leaning on MS for support. Sorry guys. I'll buck up.

I'm sorry Cathy. Wasn't on the computer as much.

How is your ANC? Is it high enough that you can fight it off ok? Praying for you.

ANC is sitting just above 500. They will hold off on treatments until it is higher. Not a good scenario but what do you do but hope for the best. MIL may try to come out Monday. DH leaves soon for Afghanistan so her help will be much appreciated.

Well, at least you have an ANC - that means there are some little boogers in there that your body can put to work. That is better than 0 White Blood Cells!

What does your ANC have to be to start the next phase of treatment? Maggie's usually has to be 1000. I am sure with your body healing from surgery and fighting off any bugs going around your home that it may take longer for your count to rise. (??)

I've heard that everyone's swine flu is different in length and 'severity'. But I also heard that it is getting better.
