My husband restarted the computer. He didn't reset it, just restarted it. We have to do that sometimes when the computer is acting funny. So, I switch to my login screen. My desk top had been messed up, I am not sure how it happened, but my tool bar had moved to the top, and then side. It was bugging me big time, and I couldn't fix it. Well, after he restarted the computer, it went back to normal. But also all my history was wiped clean, and my passwords gone. No problem there, I remember them all. But my pictures are gone too. Is there any way to get them back? Luckily I upload all my pictures to snapfish immediately after download. But I wan't to take advantage of the free fifteen dollar gift from Kodak, and I had only uploaded some pictures from March that I dont really care for. Is there a way to get my photos from snapfish to kodak?

Go on snapfish....right click on the picture and click "save picture as"...to SAVE it to your computer then just upload from your computer file to kodak.

Have you deleted all your cookies and done a disc defragment on your computer lately?? Sometimes that really helps mine run better if it's acting up.

You might try googling file recovery software. I know there are some free programs out there, but I can't think of the names off the top of my head.

Thank you ladies. And now I am thinking about the videos I had saved. They don't upload to snapfish, so those are lost.

I'm probably the most computer illiterate person on here, but I didn't think just restarting your computer would make you lose all that stuff. Do you mean like shutting it down at night and then turning it back on in the morning?

Can you do a recovery? For whatever reason (aka; me hitting some button) my laptop decided to reset itself upon it's next restart and wiped out everything. It looked brand new again and Dh had to do a recovery from a set date and got most of my files back in place, I only lost 1 picture folder....that'll teach me to start backing up my laptop too, not just desk computer! Good luck!
