She did not get either the seasonal or H1N1 flu vaccine.

This flu is really starting to scare me. A two month with no underlying health issues old died here yesterday.

We haven't been immunized yet. Dh can go today as he has asthma and is on the high priority list. My kids can go next week as they are school age and are next in priority. I can't go until it's open to the general public and we're running out of vaccines .. I guess one of the downfalls of giving it out for free - everyone wants it!

As of this morning she is still intubated but her blood pressure is better. Thanks for all the prayers.

Good. I hope it's a sign that she's stabilizing. Infectious disease docs here are seeing peak flu-like numbers now but said it won't peak in our area until Jan sometime. I shudder to think what the numbers are going to be like.
