Were they able to get vaccinated yet?

Dh is the only high risk one here. He's getting it done tonight.

DS is high risk and he's already had his first dose of H1N1 and his seasonal flu shot as well. He has allergy related asthma.

My father is somewhat at risk due to his late-in-life onset of asthma, but for some reason he's not getting the shot. That's surprising since he's usually the first one in line to get any shot they're handing out (regular flu shot, pneumonia shot). I think it's because my mother had a severe reaction to the swine flu shot in the 1970's (had a psychological breakdown and tried to jump out a window).

I'm the high risk (compromised immune system as well as being a hospital employee) one in our house and I got my shot last week.

I was supposed to get my shot today at my OB appt, but I had to cancel because ds got really sick this week and his ped thought he had H1N1. We just got the test results and he doesn't have it, but I have still been exposed to something icky so they don't want me to come in.

I should get it in a week or 2 when I can reschedule. I don't normally get any flu shot, but I can tell my lung capacity is already decreased with the way I'm carrying this baby and I don't want to end up in the hospital with pneumonia.

The ped wants ds to get it too since he is under 4, but there is a wait and I'm still not sure, we don't usually get him a flu shot. We now have Tamiflu for both of us if we are exposed.

No and if they were, I still would not give them this vaccine.

Well, my DH has asthma and it never even occurred to me for him to get one. I never get a flu shot/have never had the flu. He has had flu shots on occasion...I guess if he wants one he should make an appt for one.

I am and I'm getting the shot. Not going back to the hospital this year...or next.

We're going to get them through school as soon as they are available.
