I wonder if it's worse here. At one high school 300 out of 1200 kids are out sick. At a public school 125 out of 400 are sick. A 13 year old died from it last week, a two month old yesterday. It's all anyone's talking about around here!

My small elementary school is running at about 20-30% absence rate this week due to illness. Unfortunately many other schools nearby are the same.
