Yes! Don't expect it to be like the Muppets Christmas Carole! I also heard that it was dark just like the book and that kids under 10 probably shouldn't go. Very weird since it is an animated 3D movie...I wouldn't think there we be so much draw for adults to see an animated 3D movie, but I don't work for Disney

For me too!

DH and I took our 9 year old to see it yesterday. There were a couple of young kids (around 4?) who seemed perfectly fine with it. A couple of parts made me jump, but from being startled rather than scared.
