Yep that's me! My biggest thing is after I see an item on craigslist and then see someone paying 3x more for it in the store. I have been known to say, "hey next time you should try CL, I saw that for $15 just yesterday (and they are paying $50). I do find that I only comment to women, typically other moms, b/c they are less likely to give me the "you're crazy" look, :-)

I also get asked in the grocery line when my total is so low after my coupons how I do it so I quickly tell them about the websites and to make sure to combine the coupon with sale prices.

It would REALLY embarrass my dh but not my kids. My kids LOVE coupons, LOL.

Don't you think it's funny how we try to share our "knowledge" and so many people can't be bothered! LOL

Oh my gosh this is so funny you ask
About 90 % of the time we go out , people ask me for advice on a product.

My daughter thinks its hilarious and always asks me , " Making friends again?"

I don't know if people think I look knowledeable ( sp) , if they think I work there or what , But I can have my purse , my cart , my kids and I will be looking at something , and the person next to me will ask what I think about this or that product.Or should they buy this or that. Maybe I look willing and ready to tell them what I think. I don't know. LOL ! I have helped so many people.

Well, it depends. If something was way cheaper on an expensive item ($50-$100 cheaper) I would. On a cheaper item, no, because sometimes I feel I am getting something at that particular store because it is more convenient for me. If I'm at Khols and they have sales on ds's jeans for $17.99 and Marshalls has them for $15.99 I wouldn't say anything. To me going to another store where I had to do any driving would not be worth it to me...time is $$ too.

On the other hand, I do Appreciate advice on styles, etc. I often ask someone who knows what they are doing fashion wise something, like, "Does this look like a maternity dress - be completely honest" and they will hesitate and say, "Yes!" I am sooooooo grateful!

Also if I see one woman trying to convince another woman to buy something because it looks great on her, and if it does indeed look great on her, I'll say, "She's right. It really looks good on you!"

If no one asks my opinion and there is a single shopper, I do not say anything.

It all depends. Sometimes offering advice has tied me up with that person for longer than necessary, then they become my new best friend everytime we bump into each other for the rest of that shopping trip. I will definitely give my opinion if asked, but most of the time, I just keep to myself when shopping.

I have on occasion. I would welcome anyone giving me shopping advice/tips while i'm shopping. I think it's a nice gesture.
