His familt just ticks me off by the way they do him ! They called to say we was going to do christmas eve this year which was odd because we ALWAYS do christmas day. but we didnt put that much thought into it . Well my Neice (his brothers daughter ) called me yesterday and says "aunt kim, Can i ask you someting ?" I was like well Yes sweety LOL . She says " why are you guys not going over to uncle **** house christmas morning ?" I was in shock , We wasnt invited ! Why because she is scared my kids may touch something. She flipped out last time we was there because tyler picked up a teddy bear ! Yes thats right a TEDDY BEAR ! Well DH is hurt i could see it in his eyes. He tried not to let it show but come on I know him. He did say We wouldnt have went but they could have atleast invited . His brothers wife came to my house the mothers day after tony got back from Iraq and showed her booty at a cook out. She was asked to leave before i punched her in her face for the way she was acting in front of all the kids. Well since then his brother never calls or comes around. They whole family was invited except us. I just dont know what to do to make him feel better. I feel so bad

Oh My GOODNESS KIM!!! I can't believe how screwed up that family can be. Talk about your priorities!! It's ok though, head south and come to our house for Christmas. We love y'all

I am SO sorry. I have in laws not too far from this. My kids wanted to know when we moved to TN, would that mean Grammy and Papa would come see us more cause it was "closer" to their uncle or rather, "the chosen one". Funny enough, we only lived 1 1/2 hours away from their grandparents before AND they had to pass through our town (literally) to get to my dh's brother's house. Now, we are a full 10 hours away...and no, we didn't move to where they would come see us here, either!

Yea to make it worse they all was trying to keep it a secret they was doing it !I told tony not to say anything cause I know if he does my neice will be in trouble for saying anything, I told him to not worry WE are his family now and we love him and would be here christmas morning :D So now im going to cook ! HAHA I found a 5.00 Ham last night I have never cooked a ham before I really hope i dont mess up LOL

Just a thought....maybe it's because of the argument you had that they didn't invite you since the brother hasn't spoken to you since then. I doubt it's because a child touched a teddy bear. Sounds like your dh and his brother need to have a talk and work things out. That would be hurtful to not be invited.

:D Well Yesterday the inlaws stopped by after Having christmas at my BIL house to tell us that whle they was at the table my brother in law looks at FIL and asked " where is kim , tony and the kids ? Why didnt they come ?" well FIL says " They wasnt invited !" BIL looks over at SIL with evil look and ask FIL to bring the kids their Gifts ! Come to find out she was in charge of calling and inviteing everyone, Well she decided she wouldnt invite us. So I bet BIL and her was fighting last night ! He did get the kids nice gifts , Tyler a GI joe , preston A batman , nathan got a car and kaylee bath time George ! So Dh feels a little better knowing his brother Didnt forget him
