Do you have a New Years resolution for 2007 yet? I usually do not do one.. but I think this year I will try to make one and stick to it. I want to be more frugal....I am going to do the envelope method this year. I already do not have credit cards. This year I will put money in an envelope every two weeks and try to stick to only using that money when I go shopping. I will make it a game to see how much I can have left over for the week. I will also start keep reciepts...I saw that posted on here, so I can see where all the money goes.
I also secretly inside will try to be a better Mom, lose weight, eat better, exercise more...etc. :D

Yes, I have one, it is definitely going to be to lose weight, become more active to help lose the weight. I want to lose 75 pounds this next year. I also would like to see dh lose just as much if not more and each of my kids to lose a few pounds. Our lazy lifestyle is catching up with me, my blood pressure has been up and it is causing me headaches. My knees are bad and my back too. My kids aren't fat but too are chubby, the middle dd isn't chubby or fat, but heck if everyone else is going to lose weight, then I think that the change in life style will cause her to lose too, only she can't afford to lose more than 5 pounds.

Continue to take better care of myself so I can be a better person to be around, live with and mother my children

Pray for strength and patience, and hopefully that will be my resolve for 2007

I am actually gonna have a resolution that is completely selfish! I am making a resolution to start taking care of my appearance. I am going to start waking up early enough to get dressed properly ( no more sweats and t shirts ) I am going to take the time to put on makeup and do my hair. I also want to lose some weight, and work on toning up. I know that you dont have to do these things and some may see that as being silly but I used to take a lot of pride in my appearance and always had a really good selfesteem, now I dont and I think it is because I dont try anymore. So my resolution is to start caring about the way I look and the way I treat myself.

1. exercise 3 times a week
2. lose 30-50 pounds
3. I tend to collect clutter so I will try and go through the mail daily and put bills in the proper spot and shred other stuff
4. read what books I already have in boxes and try not to buy so many this year.
5. all my financial resolutions are posted on the money saving portion.
