I just got word that my niece and her husband are on the way to the hospital in labor with their twin boys.

They have a 14 month dd, and my niece was *so* hoping to be able to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas at home with her family.

But obviously God has other plans for them on this special night. Please keep them in your prayers!

Yes, I can see her wanting to be there for her 14 month old..but in years to come, compared to having a birthday right before or right after Christmas, it will just be that much "cooler" to be ON Christmas! Hope all goes well...and what a gift for them all!

Update: two boys born at 10:15 and 10:30 last night, and everyone is doing well. How's that for a great Christmas present?

I'm so glad everything went well w/ your niece's special Christmas Blessings I had Emily on Dec. 23 at 11:14 p.m., almost Christmas Eve. We came home on Christmas morning. She was brought to us that morning all wrapped up and stuffed into a giant stocking. We still fill that stocking every year. How does their dd like being a big sister? What are the babies' names?
