Well, it was about 5 pm, I have been desperately trying to catch up from being gone since Friday afternoon when DD called because she broke her ankle and needed surgery. We went up, took care of hours of running her around and brought her home.

She won't keep her foot up and her body down!!! She insists on hobbling around and even took at shower. She has been going outside and smoking too! Yuck. Well, her foot swelled so badly that I had to take her to the local hospital. DH left this morning at 6 am for SLC to get a friend who flew in. So I had to take DS who is autistic to the hospital with me and no help.

DH arrived after about an hour and I am back home with DS in bed and presents to wrap. DD is still in hospital and either will be staying over the evening on the antibiotic drip or coming home on one.

Can we just catch a brief break! Merry Christmas to all, and maybe good nite.

Sorry this is happening. Sounds like the hospital is the best place for her right now, considering the circumstances. It's so hard taking any kid to the hospital and waiting around, let alone one like little Hunter. It must have been so hard for both of you. It's too bad dh didn't take him with him. I really hope things get better soon and dd starts taking care of herself!
