Majic eraser! Or oops or goof off. Goof off will work for sure but I can promise it wont take the shine off the board.

There is a spray that you can use most schools I've worked in had them but I don't remeber the name. You might try and office supply store. Another thing is use one of the dry erase markers and color over the perm. mark and then erase sometimes it will take the color out and just leave a mark but no color KWIM? Good luck

I have done that! I was writing on the white board at school last year, and grabbed the permanent marker by mistake. (A big lesson was learned that day, not to put all kinds of markers in one place! )

Anyway, if you have dry erase cleaner (liquid in a bottle), that will take it out. So will nail polish remover. Also, if you have one of those Magic Erasers, those get permanent marker off of laminated items, but it might work on dry erase boards, too.

I hope that helps!!! Good luck.

Rubbing alcohol removes permanent marker and is probably the least damaging to the dry erase board.

I used to mark my canned goods with the purchase date so I could rotate them in the pantry properly. When I donated canned goods to charity, I'd wipe the date off with rubbing alcohol. Comes off clean. No problems.

I think that Windex is supposed to get rid of the ghosting left behind. I'm not sure about permanent marker though!

Would you believe that actually a dry erase market can take it off. I have done this before myself, take the dryerase marker and draw exactly over the lines he drew then erase it will come off, you may have to do it a couplre times though
