Birth Daughter's Family

The father of my birth-dd walked out on his wife and his two adopted kids. I am really so shocked and heartbroken that I just don't know what to say. This was the last thing I ever imagined when I first met them and my heart is breaking for the both of them. To make it worse, I feel totally helpless and I don't know what to do. I'm not mad at either one of them. I just feel totally saddened. One of the main reason's I gave my birth-dd for adoption was so that she would have a mother and a father and now he has moved 1,000 miles away.

Just try to hope that it's for the best. The family may come full circle and end up better off.

Thank you ladies, for responding. I just feel totally saddened by this whole thing. However, I know that God is in control and He does work for the greater good whatever His reasons are. I just have to trust in Him.

I can't imagine the emotions you must be feeling. It must be very hard to step back and not be involved. Just know in your heart that God is smiling down on you for giving these people a chance to be parents, even if they are not living in the same house. I am sure they love the child with all of their hearts.

I am very sorry to hear this. I really don't know what to say. As an adopted child, I can see where you would be coming from wanting the best for your birth dd, but your dd must be so sad also that her parents are splitting up.

This is when the power of prayer comes into things.

I can't imagine how hard this is for you. I am so sorry and only wish I could be with you to hug you and listen to you.

As bad as it is, and as tough as it is for her now, this may be the best thing.

I am so much better off because my parent split up. They were toxic to each other! But now I have a great relationship with my dad and a decent one with my mom. And even thought they hate each other they still walked me down the aisle together.

Pray for her and be there if she needs you. But also trust that things appen for a reason. At least that's what I keep telling myself. Everything happens for a reason.

this is hard for you to stand back and watch, I cant imagine how you feel

Hopefully its in Gods Hands and he will look after all of them
