Oh my! We own a tile shop and My DD and I go and sit there everyday! Well today I thought I saw a mouse this morning so I metion it in passing to my DH. We decide we will set up some poison! Well by one o'clock even my daughter sees some! Oh no we have at least three moving about! She freaks out and I am not so comfy with them either! So I try to get Her to think they are cute but she is not buying it! So needless to say we left early and if my Dh does not go and put out poison tonight I bet we will not stick around all day tomorrow!
Any suggestoins how to get rid of them. Normally I would call the landlord but we only pay $100.00 a month and I really do not want to rock that boat if you know what I mean! I have not ever had to deal with mice but you cannot run a business with mice running around! oh boy, what fun!
So that is my day! At least I got off early!!!

I would set out traps for them w/peanut butter. Thats what we did and those little buggers came running! Those things are soooo gross.

If you don't like the idea of poison and your DD being around it or the traps, you could fill a pop bottle lid with some kind of soft drink. Mice cannot pass gas so they will eventually die after drinking it. One thing I found out after doing that is they move really slow. I was in my garage moving clothes from washer to dryer. I look down to see this mouse moving slow. He circled my feet a couple of times before I could move. I hate mice with a passion!

In addition to the traps and poison there are glue traps that you can buy. The mice get stuck and can't move. Probably the quickest way is poison but please be careful of dd or other animals that could eat it.

You need a cat. A good barn cat. A shop cat. People like shop cats. Good for business, bad for mice.

It's in the landlord's best interest to get rid of the mice, since they are a public nuisance and potential liability issue. In addition, they chew wiring, which could start a fire. He might appreciate your politely informing him, along with letting him know what steps you've already taken to help out.

I like the idea of traps better than poison but do not want to have to touch them when they are dead!!! EWE!!!!! I also worry about the germs nasty!!! I will just have to wait until DH gets home to see what He says about them and what He wants to do! Actually I am secretly hoping He is not home yet because He is out setting traps for them but I doubt it!!!
