I have a bridal set, I was thinking about getting them soldered together since they seem to be rubbing and making scratches.

Has anyone soldered their rings together? Would this be a good thing to do??

I had mine done on the recommendation of the jeweler. I've always regretted it. The detail of the shape of the bands was completely lost from the sides down. And it seems thinner, not thicker. And I went to a highly reputable jeweler, the same jeweler who sold me the set & set the stone.

I got mine sodered together about 6 months after I got married. I like it b/c I only have one ring I have to keep track of if I take my ring off to do dishes or whatever instead of 2. I dont know if its a good thing to do or not but I really like having mine in one piece instead of 2.

I did that right after I got married or it would bug me too much and this May I will be married for 10 years.
I don't know how anyone could put up with the rings being seperated, I thought everyone made sure they were put together after they got married.

I have had mine for almost 22 years and did not have them soddered. I have never had a problem.

I didn't sodder mine. A lot of times I just want to wear my wedding band - like to bed because my diamond sits up high and I've scratched my face sleeping with it on.

I have my engagenment ring but no wedding band. I have a wrap(I think that's what it is called),it fits into the engaenment ring. I had them sodered together BEFORE we got married.I don't think I could handle having 2 seperate rings on on finger.

I keep thinking of haveing mine done too. It drives me crazy how my diamond spins around. You would think that after 7.5 years I would get use to it.

We had mine soldered shortly after our honeymoon. I love it. Before it got done, I was constantly adjusting both rings so they were sitting JUST RIGHT. I love having my soldered. No problems here!

Yes I got my bridal set soldered together. I waited a couple years after getting married to have it done. It drove me crazy having my rings spinning and seperating all the time so we opted to have it done. I have not regretted it at all!!!!! And I will celebrate 13 years of marriage next month!
