Default What does your skin care regimen consist of?

I have learned in the past few years how important it is to take care of my skin, even if I'm not wearing makeup...right now my skin care regimen consists of Clearasil Oil Free Daily Face Wash, Mary Kay moisturizing gel and Mary Kay's TimeWise eye cream. THAT's because I'm scraping by and have to take what I can get...normally it's MK's TimeWise cleansing bar, MK's TimeWise moisturizer with SPF 15 and the MK TimeWise eye cream. I hate to admit it, but I normally only cleanse once daily and I'm terrible about going to sleep with makeup on . I need to do better on that!!

How about you?

I use the olay facial cloths and use the sensitive olay moisturizer in the morning before applying make up. I have had such troublesome skin all my life that this was the first routine that seems to be working. I have done this for 4 or 5 years and the results are the best that I have had thus far. I still get the occasional break out but this seems inevitable for me. Best part is I cut the cloths into 2 pieces and can pitch the mess after I wash off my make up. I also watch for when CVS has extra buck promos on these items so I get them for little or no cost.

At night I wash my face with Arbonne's Nutrimin C RE face wash, then I put on Retin-A. In the morning I use the entire Arbonne NutrimenC RE anti-aging line. Seems to work for me. Pricey, but I got some of the line as a Christmas gift.

I wash with Clearasil Face Wash (the orange stuff), and moisturize with Nutrigena Intense Moisture. I do that day and night. I am so obsessed with moisturizing it isn't even funny. DH makes fun of me. But it makes my skin glow, and otherwise it feels tight.

I am a product junkie so I am always switching around to new stuff. The only thing I constistingly do is moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. Even if I only have a wet wash cloth to wash my face with, I always have some kind of moisturizer on hand. I have always had dry skin, even as a teenager. So while all of my friends were using Sea Breeze and Noxema (in those big blue tubs) I was slopping on the Oil Of Olay. LOL That was back when they made the lotion in the glass bottles and the commercials were just so elegant.

Okay, I admit it!! I have no skin care regimn!!! I wash my face with Ivory soap in the morning when I shower. (Actually I wash my entire body with Ivory). If it is dry I put some lotion on. That is about it!!! I guess I never had a problem and I still look way younger than I am, so that is all I do!

I use Mary Kay Velocity cleaner daily and Microdermabrasion kit 2-3 times a week. I usually just do that while in the shower. Then I use the Mary Kay eye cream, and Mary Kay day cream with SPF 15, then use Mary Kay Moisturizer (with SPF 20 I believe) to top it off. I also use the lip protector from Mary Kay. Then and only then will I put anything else on my face.

Shame, shame, shame on me. I use whatever soap I have in the tub. No moisturizer. I wear makeup everyday. I have been rethinking my facial neglect now that I am almost 32. I still recieve comments that I look like I am in my twentys, but to get a close look you'll see those fine lines appearing. I have never had acne or oily skin so I never gave it much thought. Now I am intimadated by all the products out there.

I only use Mary Kay products - Timewise cleanser, moisturizer, eye cream, etc. every morning. I, too, am horrible about going to bed with make-up on - I really need to stop that!

Thanks to my Scotch/Irish background, I have adult Acne Rosacea. The skin on my face is so sensitve that I have to be extremely careful about what products I use. If I use one wrong product, by the following day my skin will inform me by massively breaking out that it was not a good product!

In the morning I wash with a prescription face wash (Clenia) and put a tiny bit of Neutrogena sensitive skin moisturizer around my eyes. My skin is extremely oily, so I can't use much moisturizer. Thankfully, the Clenia wash keeps the oil under control. At night I wash my face with Dove Sensitive Skin soap then wash my face a second time (just my cheeks, nose, and chin -- my extremely sensitive problem areas) with the Clenia wash. Thirty minutes later I'll put Metrogel (another prescription product) all over my face.

My skin is now as clear as a bell with hardly any Rosacea redness and almost never a blemish. My new dematologist ROCKS!
