So I worked last night and I had to clean the candy aisle THat is the worst aisle to clean. I'm sure with little ones most of you are aware of the unbeleivable candy they have out now! Some of it is just plain weird. Give me plain old lemonheads. Or poprocks those were funny.
So what was your favorite candy as a child?
Mine has to be Hot Tamales!

When I was in elementary school, my dad got out of the military to go back to college. Well, he worked at a bookstore part time, and I remember eating this waffle gum that came shaped like a waffle and had a candy syrup you poured on it. It was SO good then, but the thought now makes my stomach turn!!! LOL
I was one of those children who didn't GET candy, so that one was a BIG deal to me.

I remember the waffle gum and the pop rocks. I also liked the wax shaped candy bottles with juice in it . What I really liked but it's not candy just junk food was the bacon flavered potato chips. I can't find those anymore.

Nerds, Fun Dip, and (I know this is bad ) candy cigarettes! Fortunately I never tried or picked up smoking!

Bottlecaps (loved the root beer flavored ones!) and something I think was called Dip and Stick. You got a little white candy stick about the size of your thumb and three different flavors of powder to dip it in. You would lick the stick and dip in the powder. After about five licks the powders were totally gross but it was my favorite thing to get when I was allowed candy.

candy necklaces & Fun dip was one of my favorites too. The bubble gum ciggerettes that you blew and little puffs of powder came out. I did pick up smoking for a good while, but I don't think it was due to that but rather having parents that smoked. Cadberry cream eggs. Was and still am a sugar addict.

I Loved the bubble gum cigarettes that blew the little puff of powder , Fun Dip was awesome for the first few licks! Ring pops were my fav, and luckily they still make them! Also those DOTS...the ones that came on the paper strips!

Bazooka was my favorite, and I use to collect all the comics too. I will still buy bazooka everytime I see it at Target. That and Pop Rocks (wow those were great).
