NO, I did NOT see a snake, but MaryGrace woke up at 4am SCREAMING HER HEAD OFF! She came out of the end of her bed instead of the side, tripped hard while going over the toybox at the end of her bed, but kept right on running, all the while screaming while she ran! She kept saying over and over again, "Snake bite me. Snake bite me in my princess bed!" She was TERRIFIED. It was so bad that even when I put her in bed with me, bless her heart, she only lay down for a minute before sitting straight up, eyes peeled into the dark, making sure the snake was not in MY room now. It took me over an hour to get her to stay laying down and back to sleep!!! The funny thing is, not one time yesterday, did I talk about you all thinking "snake"!!?? This is the first time she has had a nightmare like this, and I didn't even know she knew to BE afraid of snakes! This morning, I asked her why she cried last night, and she says she didn't! I asked her what bit her...just seeing what she would say...and she said Zoey (the dog!) did it. (and no, Zoey does NOT bite!) I guess I can be relieved she doesn't seem to remember the whole thing, but I have to wonder what bedtime will be like tonight...and do I blame her?!?!?!?

How old is she? I just ask cuz my dd (7) went through night terrors at about age 3 and now my other dd (3) is starting with them. They are actually asleep but seem like they are awake and completely terrified of Lord knows what. It happened to us last night. Isabel
(3) woke up crying and when dh went to check up on her he said she was a acting weird cuz she was actually asleep. It'll pass though, it could have been anything she saw or heard that is just manifesting it self when she is asleep in a scary way.

Just curious. Did you get a chance to check her for bites to see if a spider or something bit her? I have a huge fear here because we have scorpions - yes, in the house. A huge reason I will miss my persians - they would kill them or go after them so I knew one was on the loose. Thank God diva is starting to walk before the scorpion season comes in full swing!

AND, I can't remember the details, but wasn't there an episode or two in the past with her that made us wonder if she was psychic? Kids pick up on so many things, it's weird.
