Try looking in the VCR slot, once we found 3 DVD's stuffed in there by our 18 mos. old!!

You have to love those natural consequences! I'd point out that when you don't put something away where it belongs, you might not be able to find it when you want. Then I'd offer to help her look, or leave it at that.

I'd check the garbage can too. A few months ago my youngest found the kitchen garbage can under the cabinet. I was sitting in the dining room and knew he knew he kept walking past and into the kitchen. He'd come out and go back in. After like 5 trips I'm thinking ok, what is he doing? He was taking a matchbox car, one at a time and putting them in the garbage!

Who is the Queen???
I found the Bella Dancerella Swan Lake dvd...in her little entertainment center in her bedroom. We had checked my teen girls rooms, behind the toilet, by the dog food, in the plastic drawer, under her bed, in her clothes...I had checked everywhere! Then I went in to the bedroom where my son sleeps and lo and behold....it was in the entertainment center in there. My son sleeps in this room when he comes over from his dads to spend the weekends. There it was.....now if I can only find the Let's Dance with Bella Dancerella...(I think my hubby hid that one)

Sometimes I think my daughter just thinks of things to keep me busy. As if I don't have anything to do. She knows better than to demand anything : ) Assuming nothing else will do, I would probably end up making cookies, a craft or something like that to take her mind off the situation.
