I got this e-mail from a producer at CBS:

We are looking for families (particularly boomers) with caregiving issues, where a boomer finds themselves caring for parents or others, ie, siblings who are not well, or other issues that I haven’t even thought of yet. We’re looking for people who would like to share their stories with us, and especially, where they have come up with creative solutions.

The big picture that as the boomer population ages, and medicine keeps us alive long past the point where we can take care of ourselves, there will be a rather high percentage of caretaking at all levels. Some people, especially women, have been placed in desperate situations where they can barely manage, and some don’t
