My 9 month old woke up during the night throwing up and had diarrhea. He is doing better with that but has a fever of 101-102. I called the nurse and she said to give him motrin for the fever which I'm waiting for dh to bring home and just pedialyte. About all he wants to do is sleep. He played a few times but is now back napping. I'm worried about him since this is his first bad sickness. Please pray that he will recover soon! Thanks!

I'm so sorry. How horrible. If you can get him to eat and keep anything inside, some rice cereal w/bananas would help, as would oatmeal. Nurse often, if you can. Also, you may want to consider alternating Motrin w/ Tylenol during your dosages for safety reasons.

Hope baby is better soon! Hope it is just a little virus.
