Oh my gosh my dh wishes I would find one spot for my purse and stick to always keeping it there. Sometimes it's on the back of the couch, sometimes in the closet with the coats in the entryway, sometimes in the kitchen cabinet-that we specifically cleaned out just so my two small purses would fit there. Sometimes I just grab my wallet out of it and throw it in the diaper bag. He'd also like me to find one spot for the diaper bag, although that is normally left in my car or in the entryway closet.

Mine is usually just on one of my kitchen chairs. I really should keep it somewhere else because I know two people, where folks broke into their houses in the summertime by cutting screens and made off very quickly with their purses, that were just on the counter or chair in their kitchen or other first floor room.

I keep mine hooked on one of the bar stools next to our kitchen island.

on a hook on the back of my bedroom door or on the kitchen counter, I dont like in the kithcen because Im worried about it getting dirty but somehow it keeps showing up their.

I know it sounds dangerous, but I keep my purse in the car which is parked in the garage. My car keys are in the car, too. I'm sure when DD gets older, I'll have to stop doing that. Heck, when she gets older I'll have to sleep with my purse and car keys under my pillow! But in the meantime, in the garage is just fine.

I have paired down my 'purse' to just a cellphone, my debit card, a cc, and my driver's license. That's what I carry day-to-day and the little bag slips easily over my shoulder. I have the rest of my junk -back-up make-up, inhaler, etc - in my bigger purse which is tucked under one of the seats of the car. If the purse got stolen, I'd be more upset over losing the purse than the contents.

I always keep mine in my car, unlocked, parked right by my house. I know that does not sound good, but if I bring it in the house, I always forget it. Just like Sunday, I brought it in the house and sat it on the table, left to go to my sisters house, was down the road when I realized I didn't have, but figured I didn't need it. Well, just about that time, the gas light came on, so I figured it would be ok til I got there and then back home later on. So on the way home, the light came on right away and I got nervous and forgot all about leaving my purse at home, and drove into the nearest gas station. Luckily, I had change in my ashtray.. otherwise, I think I would've been walking home. Nothing like getting 1 gallon of gas with quarters and dimes! LOL

That is why I leave it in my car. In fact, I leave my keys in my car most places, like at work, church, etc. otherwise, I would loose them too.

My town isn't that dangerous, although, I know that anything can happen.

Now I better go get my purse, cause you know just because I said all this, something will happen to it out in the car! LOL
