I do the exact same!!!!

In my laundry room, by the garage door, so it's ready to "launch" out the door with me!

I usually keep mine hanging by our front door, I hang it with my coat, keys, etc. so I remember it when I leave. Lately, I have found myself leaving it in my car when I get back from taking ds to school though, that way it is already in there when I leave to pick him up. Probably not a smart idea, but we don't live in a development so I feel a little safer that no one would get into my car to get it, even though the doors are all locked.

I keep mine in our coat closet by the front door on the shelf above the coats. It works great and the best part is that my three lovely children can't get to it.

I always leave mine in my van that is parked inside a garage. It's much easier for someone like me who constantly misplaces things, this way I don't have to worry because it's always there. Sometimes I'll bring it in to use a credit card at the computer or get a doctors appt card out, and sure enough...I'll end up leaving without my purse. Drat! So 90+% of the time it's in my van.

I have a large market basket from Longaberger that sits on a stool in the kitchen. Everything that goes to town goes in it: mail, bank deposits, library books, etc. My purse also sits in this basket. If we are having company or I'm using the basket for something else at the time, I put my purse in bottom of the hutch.

I put it in our coat closet on a hanger right beside my coat. It is a little ackward (sp?) to keep it on a hanger as it's sort of heavy. But for now that's the only place really convenient.

On the kitchen counter right by the back door.

On the back of one of the chairs in the dining room. Its right near the alarm, so I can set the alarm, grab my purse and be out the door without forgetting one or the other.

Purse - what's a purse? You girls actually get to carry one? Mine is a diaper bag! LOL!!
