They are actually here today filming, but I drove by several times and never saw them. LOL

We have a situation with BELLS. YUP BELLS. The Bells that are in the center of town in the Congregation church are owned by the town. They play a song every hour and then chime the time. Some of the songs are "Over the Rainbow" and "My Country Tis of Thee". We have had these bells for 10 years and they have always been loved here in town. I hear them all summer long when I'm outside or I have my windows open, they are lovely.

An Aethiest dives through our town a few times a week and he checked into it and decided he didn't like the bells and claims its a violation of the seperation of church and state, He DOESN'T EVEN PAY TAXES IN OUR TOWN! He contacted the Aethists associtation and they are trying to get our town to do away with the bells.

COME ON! They are just bells! Who cares? This is becoming a national story! The first selectwoman in town is a friend of mine from High School and she is just appalled at this whole thing. She is working hard to make everyone happy, because its clear that these people will not rest till their is a resolution they are happy with. WE would like for them to just go away. They DON'T live here, don't hear the bells, why are they so concerned? Ugh its rediculous!

And I know for a fact that all the townspeople that hear the bells are appalled as well, we love our bells.

You know, some people just have nothing better to do!! That makes me mad and I don't even live there. I think bells sound wonderful anyway!
