My goal is to be completely vegetarian. I have been working more and more vegetarian meals into our meal plans. I haven't bought any meat since the beginning of the year. I have been using what is in our freezer though. So far, everyone in the family has been fine with it.

Gotta be honest, I'm a total T. Rex (meat-eater). I grew up on a farm where meat was essential (and straight off the cow or pig).

I have a good friend who is vegan - she's hard to cook for sometimes - and I always tease her that "meat is why God gave me Canine teeth." (No offense intended to any one).

My girls and I are vegetarian, and I do not ever cook meat in my house. Dh isn't really a vegetarian, but he's extremely supportive. He will eat meat sometimes when we go out, but it has to be "good meat." We don't do a lot of eggs or cow's milk either, but I do have cheese in the house. We just try to use the other animal products in moderation.

This is me! I was raised on "meat and potatoes" and find it is my comfort food. I also feel shaky if I don't eat a LOT of protein. I do try to eat less meat lately (we don't eat much red meat, mostly chicken and salmon and turkey.)

And, I was a vegetarian for 2 years in high school. I did not eat *well* though - mostly pasta and candy bars . I got very, very sick and began eating meat again.

I am vegetarian. My dh and 2 ds are not. We don't have meat at home, but if and when we ever eat out, the guys get whatever they want. Well, no, we don't let them eat red meat, but they can have chicken and pork. It is really pretty easy to find a lot of different types of food to eat.

I think attitude helps. If all you can think about is what you can't eat, you'll feel horrible. If you look at everything that you can eat, it is wonderful!

I have a meat and potatoes friend who always asks me what I eat since she can't even think about a meal without meat!
