Hello, my name is Annie, and I am a sweet tea aholic. I don't allow myself to keep it in the house, but now I find myself making excuses to drive to Capt'n D's just to get my fix.

Help!

Scary. I have found my long lost sisters! But mine is much more embarrassing. I'm addicted to Mountain Dew. But not just any. It has to be a fountain soda -- in a 32 oz. cup. With a certain type of straw (fat -- not skinny). It's a serious addiction! Even though we always have plenty of soda on hand at home, I am always stopping by the convenience store to get my "32 ouncer." I have a good friend who works for Frito Lay (Pepsi-Co), and she teases me that I drink and eat the things that they market to 13-year-old boys! Who knew?

It's good to know I'm not alone. Have any of you ever thought what the underlying reson might be? Sometimes I think it's just the fact that I like having something FUN (drinking!) on my errand list. It gives me a sort of buzz -- and I'm not just meaning the caffeine. Almost like, well, an addiction!

Girls, girls, me too. I never, not have Dr.P in the house. And even though I have been buying the bags of ice, it is not the same. I still cannot not go buy one. I try to make it to coke hour 3-4 when they are 79 cents, but it is soooooooooooooooooo hard. I really do think it is psychological. Like I said before, it has to be an Xtra large Dr P with extra ice from this one certain place. On the upside I don't drink alcohol, I don't smoke, or do drugs. But somedays I wonder if it would be cheaper if I did.

Have you had YOUR fix today??

I used to be the same way and am really trying to cut down. We didn't have good ice but I love the fountain drink. My SIL is the very same way she HAS to have a fountain Dr. Pepper. Glad to know there are so many of us.

Hey and I live in OK so Fess Up!

I love the sonic crushed ice with cherry coke with real cherries. Luckily for my budget we no longer live near a sonic. Even better our house has a crushed ice machine in the fridge. It's not as good as sonic, but it's cheaper! Every now and then I go buy the cherries and make my own.

I guess this is the next step after admitting you have a problem. Coming out with where you get your fix. This is so hard..........................................

You ladies are SO speaking my language. I can't wait to tell my DH that I am not alone. I have a MAJOR addiction to Diet Pepsi - but has to be fountain pop. I get a 32 oz. fountain pop every morning on my way to work and it usually lasts me all day. My DH has gotten into the habit of going out on weekend mornings and getting me one too.

For Mother's Day last year he even got me my own fountain dispenser directly from Pepsi - he does some work for them - so now I have a diet pepsi foundation dispenser at our cabin; since there is no fountain pop machine for miles.

I definitely need the 12 -step program.
